After working as CPAs, CIOs and CFOs in some of the prestigious accounting, consulting and real estate firms in Chicago, Howard Simon and Jeff King decided to take a risk. In February of 1992, armed with little capital, a good idea, and the desire to give up titles made of acronyms, they created PSD Solutions.
While there were other information technology consulting firms, none offered the knowledge and service that PSD provided. Howard and Jeff remained committed to focusing only on small to mid-sized companies-businesses that couldn't afford or didn't already have their own IT departments. And more importantly, businesses with whom PSD could invest the time and thinking to create solid relationships of trust and growth. It was the perfect niche. And soon-immediately in fact-a host of Chicago businesses signed on with PSD creating relationships that, true to PSD's vision, continue to grow and flourish.
